The first Mexican
restaurant in the capital region, Mexican Connection Restaurant
& Cantina has been serving authentic Mexican and
Southwestern cuisine since 1979.
We have been at our present location on Nelson Ave. (the
old “41” for all you history buffs out there) for over 25
years. Chefs Donna Duerr-Stumborg,
Amanda Dombroski, William LaFlamme and our amazing kitchen staff are responsible for creating the delicious daily
specials that allow us to utilize the freshest, local (when
possible) ingredients in addition to our regular menu.
Chef Donna is just one of our long-term employees, having
been with the restaurant for over 20 years.
The front of the house staff includes Heather Blanchard,
who has been with us for over 14 years and Rory Guilfoyle who
has been on board for 25 years!
The restaurant is owned by Johanna and Jason Friedman of
Saratoga Springs. We took
over the reigns from Marilyn Farrell, founder of the Mexican
Connection, in 2002. We
are all here to make your experience great at this Saratoga
restaurant.
All
food is made-to-order on premises, providing the freshest and
best tasting food possible.
Additionally, we have a full bar featuring over 150
premium sipping tequilas, a wide selection of Mexican beer and
fantastic hand-shaken margaritas.
The entire menu is available for take-out and we deliver
during lunch hours Monday-Wednesday.

Tequila Dinner and Tastings
Please call the restaurant to learn about
our monthly tequila dinners and to reserve your spot. The
dinners are five courses with a tequila pairing during each
course. Cost is $35 per person plus tax and 18% service charge.
Pre-payment with credit card is required. We look forward to
